Whether you are looking to change the time on your G-Shock analog or digital watch, there are a few steps you need to take to set it up. The first thing you’ll need to do is to set your time zone. This is done by holding down the adjust button on your watch for a few seconds. Once the time zone is set, the watch will automatically wind to your new time.
Another option is to use a specialized app to change the time on your G-Shock. Casio’s G-Shock Connected application is available for both iOS and Android users. While the app can be a bit confusing to figure out, it’s worth it to have a more customized experience. You can also adjust your time manually by using the video instructions below.

Changing the time on your G-Shock will be a breeze if you follow these simple steps. The adjust button is located on the lower left of your watch. To enter the configuration mode, hold down the button for at least five seconds. After this, you’ll have access to the time, date, and auto-light settings. It’s important to note that the time and date will only show up in the display if your watch is calibrated correctly. If your watch is not displaying them, you’ll have to re-calibrate the hands.

As you can see, the G-Shock has many more features than just changing the time. Depending on the model of your watch, you may be able to adjust the date, day of the week, month, and more. Some models even have a stopwatch, countdown timer, and alarm. Other features include daily alarms, multiple alarm modes, and a variety of flashing options.
You can even set your G-Shock to the military-style 24-hour format. The military-style display uses a dual-layered structure that gives it a distinctly different look than the classic G-Shock. Also, G-Shock watches are equipped with mineral glass and stainless steel bands. And to top it all off, the G-Shock is water-resistant up to 200 meters.

One feature that most G-Shock users may not know about is the adjust button. This button is found on certain models and is similar to the reverse and forward buttons. The adjust button is responsible for a couple of things: It changes the value of the value-of-moment (MOM) aficionado, it also changes the auto-light settings and functions. However, there is one trick to it: You have to wait about five seconds for the adjust button to do its job. So, if you’re having trouble with this function, you might want to go back and do the above steps again.
In addition to the above, your G-Shock might have a small beep when you use the adjust button. Usually, this is an indicator that the function is operating properly. With that in mind, make sure you are pressing the button in the right direction.
